Overview

The TypeFlow Airtable Extension helps you:

  • Generate bulk PDFs - Create documents for multiple records at once
  • Simplify automation - No need for multiple buttons or automations
  • Work from Airtable - Never leave your base

Installation

Step 1: Open Extensions

In Airtable, go to Tools (right sidebar) → Extensions

Step 2: Search for TypeFlow

Search "TypeFlow" and install the extension.

Step 3: Get Your API Key

You'll need a TypeFlow API key. To get it:

  1. Create a flow in TypeFlow (if you haven't already)
  2. At the bottom of your flow page, select "Airtable Extension"
  3. Copy your API key

Configuration

Step 1: Enter API Key

Paste your TypeFlow API key in the extension.

Step 2: Select Table

Choose the table you want to generate PDFs from. TypeFlow will automatically find linked flows.

Step 3: Select Flow

Choose which flow to use for generation.


Usage

Generate PDFs

  1. Select the records you want to generate PDFs for
  2. Click Generate
  3. Wait for processing to complete

The extension will create PDFs for all selected records and save them to your configured attachment field.

You can select and generate as many records as needed. Processing time depends on document complexity and the number of records.
